Who's who - Steve Brown

Steve is a partner for Baker Tilly accountants, based in the Saltaire office. Baker Tilly is 7 th largest firm of accountants in the UK and employs over 2,000 staff nationwide. For the 13 years prior to the move to the Saltaire office in 2009, they were located in the centre of Bradford .

His role is providing tax and accountancy advice to owners and senior staff of owner managed businesses. Businesses range from small sole traders through to multi-million pound turnover businesses. This work provides him with an insight into the needs and concerns of the local business community.

He has a keen interest in the prosperity and future of the Bradford and Airedale as many of my businesses and clients are located there and their collective success is dependant on a vibrant Airedale and Bradford economy.

He is a graduate of the Bradford Common Purpose programme which provided him with knowledge of the governance, health, education and social issues of the region. This knowledge will be of benefit and support to the Airedale Partnership and its role in the economic regeneration of Airedale.
