Bingley still "very much open for business" -

Business chiefs in Bingley are keen to empahise that Bingley is still open for business, despite Ireland Bridge being closed for repair work.

After a request to the Council to offer visitors free parking in the town, the council`s Parking Services will announce a decison by the end of next week. (Before 5th Feb 2010).

Town centre Manager David Dinsey said that he was keen to work with traders to help out while the bridge is closed and offering free parking could be one of the ways of offering an incentive for visitors to Bingley.
