Shipley-based company wins Innovation award -

Radio Design Ltd, based in Shipley took home the Young Innovative Business Award at the Yorkshire Forward Innovator/10 awards which was attended by 240 businesses, universities, and research organisations at Leeds City Museum.

The award is aimed at businesses that have shown creativity and entrepreneurial flair in the launch and early growth stages. The company has come up with a way to allow up to three cellular base stations from two UK-based mobile phone system phone operators to share the same antenna system.

Along with the award, the company won a £3000 prize to spend on further innovative developments and activities.

The Yorkshire Forward Innovator/10 awards demonstrate the benefit of developing new ideas and technologies and the role played by innovation to gain competitive advantage.
